Gardosh, Kariel (Dosh)
(1921 -2000)
   Israeli cartoonist. He was born in Budapest. He emigrated to Israel in 1948, and joined the staff of the paper Maariv as editorial cartoonist. Signing himself 'Dosh', he created the figure of Little Israel, a young boy who became the popular symbol of the State and its people. He also illustrated books and wrote short stories and plays. He has exhibited in Israel and other countries.
